ISP

The new normal has blurred distinctions between corporate and consumer internet usage patterns, as an increasing number of organizations are forced to embrace remote working for their workforce. Internet Service Providers are having to suddenly rethink how they are provisioning bandwidth, availability, and user experience, as people are multi-tasking between office and personal tasks, online education, and entertainment.

The three common challenges most ISPs face in the white labeled OEM devices they send to consumers include:

An intelligent process for diagnosing the device remotely, resetting, and re-establishing service without the need for a truck-roll or device replacement

Proactively tuning the home experience based on the application intent, and delivering the right bandwidth to deliver a delightful experience

Managing device complexity across the installed base without having to upgrade, integrate, or replace them

Qubercomm is uniquely positioned to partner with ISPs to ensure they are able to deliver personalized experiences at scale without massive investments. Our solutions for the ISP market include:

Mesh infrastructure, algorithms, integration

Our deep expertise with 802.11s, WDS and EasyMesh and integration with algorithms that are agnostic of mesh infrastructure has benefited many customers. We enable our customers to develop custom algorithms for mesh management using path selection, steering, load balancing and other techniques. All this also requires the final task of integration on a variety of target platforms and enabling quick integration through our design and architecture choices.

outcomes-1

Connectivity and performance

Our experience in interoperability, debugging performance issues in the software by accessing the chipset vendor’s firmware, and delivering successful connectivity has been proven at industry-leading brands. We have also developed complex ISP requirements for customization that have been successfully tested and implemented.

Self-managed and self-healing networks

Our proprietary software layer constantly monitors for capacity, connectivity, performance, and security. The software uses machine learning to self-manage and self-heal the network. For network issues that cannot self-correct, it sends alerts to the ISP customer support cloud service and the consumer app.
